Upgrading or building

Hello,

i have HP 500b MT and i'm thinking of upgrading it by buying

GIGABYTE GV-R927XOC-2GD R9 270X 2GB GDDR5  or maybe this one 

MSI R9 270X GAMING 2G R9 270X 2G GDDR5 

 

Anyway my question is which setup will be better? Upgrading my Pc by buying one of these gpus or building an apu machine, in this scenario  i wont buy any graphic card 

 

i use it for For High-med Gaming

i have 400$ budget

Maybe build an APU machine... Do you have an OS?

270x + PSU assuming you have above an i3. 

 

it's a dual core celeron, scrap/repurpose it.

Get an APU, because that CPU will bottleneck otherwise

I hate to be the bearer of bad news.

 

Putting in either of those graphics card in your HP machine will cause random system shutdown. The PSU is simply not up to the task.

 

Also with the budget of $400, you're better off buying a PS4. To simply put it, there are no combination of PC parts (currently), that will match the PS4 at $400.
