Nvidia Trojan?

This just popped up while I was on the internet. What is Nvidia doing, I thought its just a driver.

Well it could be something else of the internet which attempts to disguise as something familiar that you might unknowingly give administrator permissions. Or it could be just a false alarm, it happens with most if not all anti viruses every now and then. For example if you download something like a hack malwarebytes will detect it as malware despite not containing malware.

thanks for the reply, however I dont usually download anything. Also the risks associated with hacks are too great so I will never touch them. The thing thats bothering me to most is the fact this is from Nvidia? So I am not quite sure how to feel about this, is Nvidia auto downloading malware?

Well you have to understand that you are not required to download a virus to actually have malware on your computer. It could be a chance that NVIDIA is downloading malware but to be honest it could be anything.

Something modified your browser probably. Use AdwCleaner. Download it using different browser (Edge for example).
