Ram Packs

Okay so im building a new pc and shipping is too expensive and instore they only have the set of Two Ram Sticks I was curious if I bought 2 packs of the same ram sticks if they would work or do i need to purchase the set of 4 in a pack

it will work fine, as long as you don't screw something up which is hard

2*8 GB is most common nowadays. You can mix / match ram - but try to have same timings for the ranram

im trying to buy 2 packs of 2*16 GB

if I am reading this right you are buying two sperate packages of 2x16gb of ram, as in you want a total of 4 sticks of ram each with 16gb on them? That is a total of 64gb of ram. What are you doing with your computer that you believe you need 64gb of ram? For most applications 16gb is more than enough. I would suggest you get a really good 16gb (2x8). I would take less ram that is better and runs faster than more ram than I need any day. And it still might cheaper than 64gb of ram. Unless you are really doing something that requires that much ram.
