MSI USB BIOS flash

I’m trying to update my Bios so I can use my new AMD 3600x CPU. The problem is I don’t know what the desired results are. I know I formatted the drive as FAT32. All the USB ports blink 3 times then stop except one which blinks 3 times and stays on. Did I fry the motherboard? I’m concerned because I have tried flashing the Bios several times.
