Hi everyone!!

Let me first start out by saying I have a very good job that pays very well and allows me to build my dream setup. I have been running the computer I'm on now for about 6 years and it is time for a serious upgrade. About a year ago I started shooting 4k video for real estate. I also stream some and have found that to be a very fun hobby when I have free time.

I came up with 2 builds for a dual pc streaming/editing setup. The 9900k build will be just strictly gaming and the 3900x build will be for streaming and my video editing. By the time the 3900x is available the 3950x might be available also and if it is I will go with it. I already have all the accessories (goxlr, mic, camera, etc....) to stream. I'm going to be running 4 screens. I think I only have 2 listed but I already have 2 Asus 1440p 144hz monitors. 1 Asus monitor will be used for gaming. The other Asus monitor will be used to chat etc.... and the ultra wide and pa329 monitor will be used for editing purposes.

Here are the 2 builds:

The money is ready to go just wanted to see if I had any better options or does this look good!

Thanks

You really don't need 2 PCs, especially if you just wait for the AM4 16 core CPU, which can do everything at the same time pretty much, otherwise I'd still just get 2 PCs with Ryzen 7 8 cores in them, the 9900K isn't too much faster than Ryzen 3000 given the price.

Otherwise NAVI's upscaling tech is really neat for 1440p performance with 4k like visuals, but if you just want something better to run native 4k I'd stick to a 2080 super at most, nvidia is just ripping people off with the 2080ti.

I always go for performance per dollar. Just buy some bitcoin with the rest? Or Qualcomm has like 5% dividends.

Or buy a Tesla, or a 3D printer.

If you REALLY want 2 PCs for whatever reason you can most likely fit them both inside this case, which already has 2 power supply mounts at least.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

@DurtNasty I suggest having the gaming monitor as 144hz or higher if its for gaming. it will be smoother and look better. as for the second monitor, I suggest you get a monitor stand and put it vertically for the chat for when you stream. and maybe get a 3rd monitor for editing along with the main monitor if you want. and I really suggest getting a monitor stand. And, maybe 1000w psu's for both pc's for some wiggle room to upgrade in the future. and get a keyboard.

The only reason I was thinking about the 2 PC route was because everything I have read and watched lately says it's better in terms of quality etc of stream. If I can stay with one PC that would be great as I can use the other money to upgrade some of my camera equipment etc...

I never thought about the 2080 super honestly and I'm glad you brought that up!!

It can be "better" but the 16 core Ryzen CPU is already going to push out 1080 60fps very fast 6K bit rate with no issues, or you just turn on NVENC or ReLive for AMd and your CPU doesn't really matter
This is pretty much the most you need to spend, CPU/Cooler/Motherboard are just placeholders

The Fuma 2 is like the best air cooler for the money, but it's not on the part picker for whatever reason.

Though I'd personally still save $300 on the GPU and go Navi lol, I do actually have a 1950X though with an RX 580 currently.

As others have suggested, you might consider using a dual system case. Corsair has the 1000D. Phanteks has the Elite. Both are pricey. Phanteks also has a psu designed to run dual systems.
