Need help choosing new GPU

I think I have to replace my GPU, currently have Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 560Ti which seems to have died. I have Gigabyte M/board GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3, running Windows 7. What are my options for a new GPU?

What’s your budget and do you prefer AMD or nVidia?

Not sure, what ever is cheapest really, the PC was built some years back (not by me) so don't know if it's worth getting anything high spec or whether it would be compatible? I guess prefer nvidia. Thanks

Photoshop, and the kids play Minecraft etc

Forgot to ask, is it better to stick with the same make as the m/board Gigabyte or is it ok to get another make? thanks
