Blue Tint on Screen

Hi, I'm not the one having this particular problem, it's actually a friend of mine, but he doesn't speak English. Anyway, the problem is that after using his laptop for a while (for playing League of Legends most of the time), his screen gets this blue tint. It doesn't get the "blue screen of death" from windows, it just gets a bit blue, and the sound completely cuts out for him, so he doesn't hear me, but I can hear him with distortion, so I can barely understand him. His computer doesn't get slower or anything, just the problems mentioned before. Restarting his laptop fixes this problem, but it always comes back after a while of being active on the computer. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
