PC Glitched and stopped working

Hey everyone this is my first post, I hope I won't break the rules?

 

Yesterday I worked generally on photoshop, and the pc started to showing some square glitches and stripes. It never happened to me. I manually shut down the computer and start it again, It loaded for 5 seconds started to showing thoose glitched stripes again and then froze and stuck.

I then tried to unplugged the gpu because I thought it was the main cause, so I started the pc again without the gpu and it boot but the monitor didnt turned on.

 

1. Is the gpu dead?

2. Why the monitor won't load without the gpu?

Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H

Kingston 16G DDR3

Gigabyte GTX780 WindForce X3
