Rage 2 in Vulcan mode?

I'm having very bad fps in this game,of around 30.My card is not that bad,and I see this game runs in Vulcan mode,and I played Doom with around 90 fps.

How do I run this game in Vulcan mode?

I assume there's an option in the graphics settings somewhere to change from DX11 or 12 to Vulkan, usually requires a game restart. What GPU/CPU/RAM are you running btw?

id Tech 6 from when id made the Vulkan render path was only released using Vulkan afterwards.

 

i.e., the game is running using Vulkan.

 

EDIT: Ah silly me. I forgot RAGE 2 doesn't use id Tech.

 

EDIT 2: However, the engine RAGE 2 uses runs Vulkan by default: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/rage-2-benchmark-performance-test/

Game runs at 60 fps,but suddenly in a lot of scenes fps drops to only 30.

I am playing at custom settings.

I am not so sure if the card is an issue,R9 390 is not that bad to drop 30 frames instantly.

Could this be a game issue?
