Dual system loop

Hello all

So i have a dual system build in the near future in the Corsair obsidian 1000D

I am wanting to cool a 9900k - 2080ti & 2700x - gtx 980 on a single loop.

How would you go about cooling this?

how many rad? what size? what kind of res and pump?  loop order ect..

All suggestions are welcome even if it comes to just using two custom loops.

Thank you for reading.

I think I'd use two separate loops for redundancy sake so when the pump eventually fails it doesn't disable both systems , or so one system can be serviced without affecting the other.

It is possible yes, but not recommended, as @emosun said: you would need to disassemble both systems in order to perform maintenance on one. Another issue is if the main system powers off for some reason the second system could overheat due to the pump being shut off with the main system.  I would recommend probably a 240 rad for each system is the bare minimum, probably would suggest a 360 for each with some high static pressure fans. Loop order and res really doesn't make a difference for performance, any D5 pump (they are rebranded by many brands, EK's pump/res combos are always a safe bet.

why no dark mode?
