Building a new pc! Some sugestions would help a lot!

Hi!

I'm building a new tower so i've been looking for parts for quite a while, as i don't know much about quite everything i'm asking you guys for a little help!

CPU: I was first looking at the i9 9900K but as i found out about the Ryzen 7 3700X, i kind of changed my mind cause the difference is quite small, so i think i'm gonna go for a AMD build! If any other AMD cpu is better than this let me know!

GPU: Been thinking to go for "the best" so i'm gonna chose the 2080 Ti but what i don't know is if there are any difference between these GPU's , i mean by manufacture or ofc fans or liquid!

MBD: What mbd would be good for this cpu, i also need wifi on it!

RAM: What ram would be good? There so many criteria that i have to take in consideration so i'd rather ask..

Power supply: Are there any difference between the platinum and gold? And wich one qre better? How many wats should it have?

SSD: Here i understood that the NVMe M.2 are way better than the normal ones, but again are there any other differences between them that i should consider?

Guess that's pretty much all, if i missed anything please let me know!

Answering your questions:

CPU: Yes, there are better AMD ones! The 3800X (just a overclocked 3700X, not worth it imo) and the 3900X. The 3950X is coming out soon.

GPU: There are different versions of the 2080 Ti. Generally though, just go with a good airflow one and you'll be great!

MBD: X570 would be the best and would allow you to take advantage of PCIe 4.0 in SSDs, which is quite nice. However, a good X470 would work too.

RAM: 3600MHz is the sweet spot for AMD Ryzen 3000. Go for the lowest CL that fits in your budget.

PSU: Platinum and Gold is part of the 80+ rating, a rating which rates efficiency. It has nothing to do with PSU quality. There are a lot of good and bad ones; I'll choose a good one for you. About the wattage, it depends on the system.

SSD: NVME M.2s are way better in terms of sequential and 4K speeds, so it's quite good. However, for people who just game or web browse, this won't make a difference. In the future though, it might make a pretty big difference, so I'd go for a good NVMe if your budget can fit it.

In order to build the system in PCPartPicker though, I'll need to know your country and budget, and also if you need a keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.

Well i'm in Cyprus right now...it's quite difficult here with the shipping...very expensive cause it's and island. Budget i'd say a 3000 euro, but if i can get under that would be great!

Made a build with about 350€ left over for shipping:

Made a 3k€ build with 350€ left over for shipping:

If you buy everything from Amazon Deutschland (makes it 2850€) and make it all the same seller (Amazon), you can actually probably get away with shipping under 150 euro.

That's probably due to different sellers, so multiple things get shipped.

Assuming a 20kg shipment, it should only be 96€ for standard shipping to Cyprus, according to amazon.de itself.

CPU: The ryzen 7 3700x is fine.

GPU: You've pretty much picked out the best of the best.

Motherboard: Basically your choice of B450, X470, or X570 motherboard that fit's in your case. (You will have to have an older cpu on hand to update the bios for B450 and X470 chipset motherboards)

RAM: Considering the other parts you picked out, you might want at least 16 gigs of 3200MHz DDR4 RAM.

Power supply: You should be perfectly fine with a 700 watt power supply. I have an 80+ bronze and it works fine for me.

SSD: I don't have any experience with nvme/m.2 drives, so I would choose a sata ssd at least 1 terrabyte in capacity and an hdd the same size so you can keep backups of your data.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x  | GPU: GTX 1070 FE | RAM: TridentZ 16GB 3200MHz | Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M | PSU: EVGA 650 B3 | STORAGE: Boot drive: Crucial MX500 1TB, Secondary drive: WD Blue 1TB hdd | CASE: Phanteks P350x | OS: Windows 10 | Monitor: Main: ASUS VP249QGR 144Hz, Secondary: Dell E2014h 1600x900

Why suggest the 3800X? It's a pointless waste of money compared to the 3700X where the performance difference is almost negligible. You even said this yourself:

Also, a Kraken X72 is overkill for a CPU that is decent to cool, even with it's stock cooler. A 240-280mm AIO will do fine and again will save more money. The Kraken X72 is worth considering if you're running an i9-9900k because that chip is just a hotplate basically.

This should do you well and you have about 500EUR for shipping costs which I think you should be fine enough to still save some money. I went for 16GB RAM because unless you do media creation or use workstation-like programmes such as blender and etc. then yeah you can justify 32GB but not if you're strictly just gaming and web surfing.
