VR for video watching?

I have been using google cardboard for a while now but am curious if there is any good low cost VR say for around $200, if all I want to do is watch VR formatted videos?

I think cardboard is pretty much it, especially if your phone has a good screen.

Oculus Go is a $200-$250 USD all in one unit. Only 3dof tracking and no motion controllers but it does come with a little touchpad remote.
