PC Surround Sound Receiver

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to have high-end surround sound on my PC.

I looked into run of the mill surround systems, but their speakers are not the best.

 

Does anyone know a surround av receiver with a USB digital input to hook it up to a pc or a dac and amp that would allow to connect 6 or 8 passive speakers?

usb? if your using a receiver you use hdmi for the surround formats...toslink/digital for basic dolby and dts
