Motherboard front panel connectors

I recently build my first pc and i used a: MSI b450 tomahawk, an AMD Ryzen 2600, a RTX 2060, the cooler master mb530p case and a Samsung SSD.

Good experience for the first time not gonna lie, but these front panel connectors are killing me and searched for help on YouTube but couldn't find anything helpful so i came here.

The case has 2 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, a fan lighting button, the power button but now restart button.

I searched on every box from every component and the cables i found for the front panel were: HD audio (holes for pins:5), usb (holes for pins:5), USB 3.1 gen 1(holes for pins: a lot, its the big cable with the blue head) HDD LED (holes for pins: 2) power switch (holes for pins: 2)

They last 2 that i mentioned have - and + side, i plugged the ( + ) side to ( + ) on the mb, same with the ( - ).

I noticed on many videos that they have plugged 1-2 some smaller cables on that big head for all these cables with the + and -

Sorry if i haven't explained the situation well, i am new and not the best English speaker.

Is the pc going to start with those front panel connectors only? ( Without power LED and reset switch)

Thanks for spending time of your life reading my post, i would appreciate any kind of help.

P.S the motherboard manual didn't help at all other than clarifying what's the + and - pins on the header.

+ and - are positive and negative. on button like power and reset it doesn't matter the orientation they are plugged in.

on leds it matters , if they are backward the leds don't light up so you simply have to flip the connections around.
