Hey all,

I am building my first ever PC thanks to linus and other tech youtube channels.

My specs for my build are:

.

CPU: Ryzen 3600

RAM: 2x8gb 3000mhz

GPU: Gtx 2070 super

Motherboard: Msi x570 gaming plus

PSU: Corsair TX650M

Cooler: Corsair H115i pro

Case: Fractal design meshify c

.

From the Cpu and Gpu what would be the bottleneck as this would be what I would want to overclock, also would you recommend both overclocking the cpu and the gpu?

I should also note that I will be gaming in a 4k resolution and my monitor is 144hz.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks alot, Elliot

a bottleneck is something that happens when you build a pc and see that gpu is not being pushed up to 100ish%

you have not built your pc to know if the gpu you bought does bottleneck or not

what you need to consider when building a pc is if the budget and the parts you have will be enough for your needs, if it is for gaming, this list of parts is great and dont worry for bottlenecks, remember that a bottleneck is just potential not used, is not like you are going to hurt yourself, break a pc part or games will not run

buy, assemble and enjoy

The CPU can handle more GPU horsepower before hitting its limit, but not that you should worry about that, because the 2070 is nicely powerful in its own right

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
