Done, did an ipconfig on both machine and the subnet mask is different, 255.255.255.0 + 255.255.255.255.
Would this be causing the problem? If so how do I fix it?

Yep, there's your problem.

Change it in network settings on Windows.

PLEASE HELP!

Ever since moving into my new house and using the Telstra Smart Modem I have been unable to ping my web server, even access it from the outside. Nothing is working.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

You need to confirm all IP Addresses, Subnets, Gateways and DNS servers are configured properly.

Any half decent firewall will automatically allow internal connections with no user input.

Done, did an ipconfig on both machine and the subnet mask is different, 255.255.255.0 + 255.255.255.255.
Would this be causing the problem? If so how do I fix it?
