Steam Default Game Folder?

Jstagzsr

so on my sons computer i installed steam on C which is an ssd, and i installed the games on D which is a regular hdd.. I bought him MKX and all the dlc for his birthday yesterday, installed on d like veerything else, but for some reaosn this game only takes FORVER to boot up, and for the first like 40 seconds after clicking the icon itll say "not responding" in the task manager..  eventually itll unfreeze and itll boot up.. very slowly.. im assuming because its on the hdd its doing this.. so moved the "steam library" folder from the hdd to the ssd. now the game is telling me to install it again like i knew it would, but whenever i try to point to point the "downloads" folder at the folder i placed on the ssd, it tells me something about it already being there and it wont add to the list. (thats what google said to do) (i dont remember it being this difficult when i moved things around on my own pc).. so since nothing im doing is working, im trying to put the game files themselves back in the original directory they wouldve been in if i would have left steam alone and let it download the games to its default folder on c....

what folder is that???

i cant find any info on what the ORIGINAL folder path is for DEFAULT downloads of games off steam..

if anyone could help me out id appreciate it.
