I NEED HELP

Im putting in my rtx 2080 ti and i dont know how i should have it cabled. 

 

The first picture is with one cable with all of the connections and the second picture is using 2 cables with the other cables hidden behind

 

ive heard that if u only use 1 cable it can get too hot or something, can anyone help?

Honestly you can go either way.  It will draw the power and the ampage on the 12v rail is what matters.  Both will use the PSU correctly and your card will run fine.

Well Id say pic 1 because it is less clutter and neater basically.  But pic 2 is neat too the cable goes out the side of the case ,, I mean its a bit different look,, Go with how you want it to look thru your tempered glass.

I know my HX850 manual says that when using a 2 plug GPU to ensure to use two different PCIe power cables, and to not mix modular with non modular (for crossfire).

 

Use both cables, not to say it WONT work with just 1, but your PSU has two separate ones for a reason (and my PSU has 4 for SLI/Xfire)

Yes your right for about Crossfire or SLI.  Also I think hes modular, so even better and neater
