It said to not do anything until flashing light is off but my problem is, is that its not flashing

Switch it all off, and try the flash again. Sure the stick is correctly formatted with the correct bios on it?

Is there just a standard M-flash utility in the bios settings? If there is, flash the bios through that, usually the Dual Bios flash button that is physically on the board is to switch the bios to a version that isn't corrupt so that if you mess up your main bios you have a backup so that you don't brick the board. If you're just updating the bios normally you should just do it in the bios software with the flash utility in there.
