Which of these displays is better for gaming?  https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MONACN92700/Acer-Predator-XB271HU-27-WQHD-Nvidia-G-SYNC-Gaming or https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/gaming/32--chg70-gaming-monitor-with-quantum-dot-lc32hg70qqnxza/. The main thing that I want is high refresh rate and "vibrant colours" (Don't know the proper terminology) Response time is not that big a deal for me.

Well, I would go with the Samsung one.

The Acer Predator display is flat panel, 8 bit panel, IPS, and claims to do 2560x1440 165 Hz refresh rate ... it's so expensive because it has nVidia Gsync and it's aimed at strictly gamers

The Samsung display is better for colors and that "vibrant" thing.

It's only 144 Hz which is still quite high but you may not like that it's curved. On the other hand, it's 32" instead of 27", and it's a 10 bit panel and has HDR and also has QLED backlight (which improves colors). HDR and the QLED makes more "vibrant" colors.

You can use in 10bit + HDR, in regular 8bit + HDR or just plain 8 bit (like any other display)

It's cheaper because it doesn't have nVidia Gsync, but it has Freesync 2 which works very well.
