Strike Vector release (20% off)

Strike Vector is a 3rd/1st person (you should probably stay in 3rd person) flight FPS just release on Steam and it doesn't seem like enough people play it. I want this game to take off, so hopefully it will succeed. I've been playing since the beginning of January, the flight and combat system is incredibly addicting, maybe I can find some forum members to shoot the things at.

It does have some issues, however. In some maps the spawn system can be somewhat annoying. The guns are mostly balanced, but there are some useless guns and bonuses (i.e. LMG, extended iron sights), so just a few things need some tweaking and there isn't anything insanely overpowered. Aside from that it needs a bit more optimizations, the game shouldn't be difficult to run and at times I do drop down to ~50 FPS in crowded maps.

 

They're doing a one time buy model with no micro transactions, DLC is free. The devs will be releasing instructions on how to host your own server later. 

 

Some might complain about the price tag (25$, 20$ currently), but for what they've put out (4 man dev team nonetheless) I'd be willing to pay AAA prices for, especially for not having to put up with micro transaction bullshit.

 

Expect 1-3 hour learning curve for those familiar with flight sim type games, probably around 5 hours if you're fresh to anything like it. It's often compared to Quake, Hawken, and Crimson skies. 

 

Watching @Slick trying to pick this up for the first time on an afterparty would be gold

Yeah but I guess something didn't get through. It was during exam period anyways, so I didn't put much thought into it.
