Ram for HP 15-1222wm

I'm looking into upgrading my ram from an 4gb ddr3l stick to an 8gb stick. Not sure if I should stick with the ddr3l or if I'm able to move to a ddr4 stick. I just have no idea if this model supports ddr4. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance. 

If this is the wrong place to look for info, please direct me in the right direction.

Upgrade to the 8gb stick, no device can support ddr3 and 4 since the sticks are physicaly different.

I would also suggest you Upgrade the slow 5400 rpm harddrive to atleast a 7200 rpm drive or even a ssd.

I'd preferably like to get a 1tb ssd soon as well. Thank you for the help, made my life so much easier.
