I got a Xjacker adapter and using a razer kraken pro as the headset. Problem is, is that the mic part I literally have to put right up to my mouth for it to hear me. Keep in mind tha both mic and audio work perfectly fine on pc's. What am I doing wrong here? I got the xjacker so I could record my voice and game audio while recording using elgato game capture hd. Again, what am I doing wrong? What do I need to do? Thanks for any help!!!!

You're not necessarily doing anything wrong.

Search for manage audio devices in windows.

Then click on the "recording" tab, right click on your microphone, and select properties.

Click on the "levels" tab, and then change your microphone boost to +10db, +20db or +30db.

To test it out, you can go to the "listen" tab, then check "listen to this device", then apply, and try to talk.

Adjust accordingly, and remove the "listen to this device".
