Minecraft issues

Hey everyone,

I have this weird display glitch that happens in Minecraft in versions above 1.12.2. A few seconds after I reach the main menu, the game does this display glitch (image shows it below). I have restarted the game several times and I also did a full reinstall, but it still does this. But, again, it only happens in versions 1.13 and up, so I can use 1.12.2 and below just fine.

Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? If it helps, my GPU is an RX 460 2GB and I am using a Freesync 1440p monitor. I also have a 2nd 1080p monitor, but that doesn't really matter.
