Playing Switch on PC?

Would it be feasible to play on a switch in docked mode from a window on your pc using a capture card? If you were to use a pci card, and capture at the highest res the switch can output at 1080@60fps would there be noticeable input lag? There would be no need to actively write anything to the disk, so I am not sure about the performance penalty the switch will have. But it would be very convenient to use discord from your computer while playing some nintendo games.

a normal capture card will do just that, capture a signal comming from a hdmi devoce, like the switch and then allow you to record or at least see the signal

 

do you have a specific capture card in mind?

Lets say I get that, but I don't plug in an output to the monitor and play games on the preview or the capture software. Think there would be any input lag problems?
