Hey guys I have been questioning alot about what i want with my new pc. I already got trident z 3200hz 16gb, samsung ssd, and 2tb of hd. I am wondering now if i should get the new amd processors? or should i get the intel ones. I also had a question about getting the 2070. is that worth the price? I want to record and have games in high settings. constantly. If you could help me out so I dont really get anxiety about this, itd be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

2070 wasn't that good before the 5700/5700XT.  Go AMD.  Don't care if you don't like them, they're what you should get.  I'm not going to suggest something worse or more expensive, you'll have to make that call yourself.

 

Whatever you do, don't buy the 2070.

For the price, yes.  2060 for 1080p or 2080 for 1440p was the general consensus.

No, I recommend the 5700XT. For $50 more, it provides a worthwhile performance boost to go with your 3700X.

 

If you were just going to game, I'd go 3600 + 5700.  But you want to stream/record too.

well would the 1080 compete with the rx5700 xt? would one  be a clear winner?

My opinion wasn't for you.  It was for the OP, who's asking the questions in this and previous threads. 

 

It's not attacking Nvidia, it's attacking the 2070.  It's advising to go with the AMD cards, as they are a better value currently.

Well looking at this I'd does really depend on your budget.

A 3600x should be enough to meet your needs however the 3700x would be a better choice (depends on your budget).

The RX 5700XT when it come to benchmarks it kinda seems to sit somewhere slightly below the rtx 2070 in most gaming benchmarks while being a bit cheaper so it may be a good choice for your system however you still might want to look over Nvidia's RTX 2070 Super as it is still a good contestant for the system or the rtx 2070, again fully dependant on your budget.

 

Also for motherboard I'd recommend waiting for AMD's B550 boards or buy X570. Wouldn't recommend the b450 or x470 motherboards as they require a bios update which requires  basically a 2nd gen ryzen or older cpu installed and not many places do bios updates on motherboards. 

 

For power supply a 650W 80+ rated should be plentiful for the system, preferably semi modular if you care about aesthetics and all.
