Hello All,
To make this post short and sweet, my problem is:
Whenever I start up my computer, I get this error message that says CPU fan error. But whenever I just hit reset the next start up makes it work perfectly fine. I keep looking in my case to see if its loose or not, and it doesn't seem to be coming off of the CPU fan header on the motherboard. Also whenever it says this error I boot into the bios to see what is happening and it says that the fan speed is dropping occasionally below 600 rpm. But like I said, all I do is hit reset on my case and it works perfectly fine, and my temps are perfectly fine as well after I hit the reset. I sit at about an average of 28 Celsius. The CPU cooler is a Cooler Master Hyper 212.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You sure you plugged the Fan header into the fan? because there are two CPU Fans, a Main CPU fan and a CPU optional Fan. It might be because you plugged in the wrong one. If you did plug it into the Opt CPU fan, then just move it to the CPU main fan header. If not then just follow legopc's advice and go into bios and disable to fan error.

Turn Q control off, it will stop alerting you and the CPU fan will run at one constant RPM.  Which is best in my opinion because its not annoyingly loud, I mean.  I must be really sensitive because I have a Noctua NH-U12DX i4 ultra quiet xeon cooler, with Q control off and to me it sounds like a bloody vacuum cleaner.

(edit: I like q control off for my cpu fan because it stops the reving up and reving down which can be quite annoying.)
