Is the Logitech F310 any good?

Rhaemond

Or would you recommend any other better controllers or maybe a cheaper alternative?

It's only being sold to me for cheap but I heard it doesn't have vibration so that's kinda a deal breaker...

I know these are a little more than the price range you're looking at but I prefer just a trusty Xbox or Playstation controller. You can find them used pretty cheap, and if you get an older controller (Xbox 360) it would be even cheaper for you.

If you go with an older controller you will lose the ability to use bluetooth however.

There's a listing for a brand new Xbox One controller on ebay right now for $35.

would that work for PC gaming? Because I'm looking for a USB type controller that's basically plug and play.

Yep. Just plug it in with a micro-USB cable, no setup required for 99% of games. Or better yet, pick up a usb bluetooth adapter and use the controllers wirelessly (batteries required for xbox, I think Playstation are rechargable).

I have been using an Xbox One S controller since pretty much the day they came out and I have never had an issue either wired or over bluetooth.

Also, I found a posting on ebay for used xbox one controllers for $10 each.

I did have the Logitech F310 but for some reason, my PC would not recognize the controller. Rn, I just use my PS3 controller with Bluetooth works fine no problems encountered yet. My brother uses the Trust GXT 540, also a pretty good controller and not too pricey.
