CPU: Core i5 4670K

RAM: Corsair vengeance 32GB

Graphics Card: ASUS GTX770 DC20C-2GD5

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP LGA1150

CPU cooling: Corsair H100i

SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB (boot drive)

If you guys have any recommendation, feel free to comment. Because I'm newbie to this custom build PC.

Thanks!!

You don't really need 32 GB of memory in a system like that. 16GB is fine, and is what I use in my editing system.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

If your gonna do editing i would drop the 32gb and go for 16gb, and get the 4770k instead. Hyper-threading helps a lot in editing and rendering compared to the i5. Please get the i7 :(

What kind of footage are you editing? Is it 1080p, 720p, 2K, 4K, etc? If you're doing 2K or lower then 16GB of RAM will be plenty, especially if its 1600MHz-CL9 or higher.

What software will you be using to edit video with?

Also, something like a Seagate Barracuda for the storage drive would be better, WD Green's are 5400rpm drives so video editing will be slowed down by this, especially during exporting.

With the money saved on the RAM get an i7-4770k.

The Workstation – Motherboard: ASUS P9X79 WS | CPU: Intel i7-4930k @ 4GHz | GPU: EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked | RAM: 32GB G.Skill RipjawsX 1600MHz | Storage: 250GB Samsung EVO SSD, 3TB WD Green  | PSU: Corsair AX760i

The Server – Motherboard: ASUS M4A78LT-M | CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 240 @ 3.0GHz | RAM: 4GB 1333MHz | Case: Silverstone PS08

The iMac – CPU: Intel i7-2600 @ 3.5GHz | GPU: Radeon HD 6970M 2GB | RAM: 16GB 1600MHz | Storage: Hitachi 2TB 7200RPM
