Microphone between $40 and $70

Blue Snowball, you can cheap out and get a Zalman Clip-on mic for 7 dollars. I have it and its really good!

Audio technica ATM 2500. This micorphone seems to get overlooked due to the popularity of its bigger brother the ATR2020 but for a $50 microphone it performs really well. I currently use one and the sound quality is outstanding and comparable with the snowball.

I'd say the blue tiki or snowflake because they have a much smaller desktop footprint.

I have the Snowball, it sounds really good. I also got it on sale for $49.99 on amazon (it is the full version, not the ice version). With that being said, my brother also got the ATR 2500 recently and it sounds really good aswell. Currently the 2500 is cheaper than the snowball and I personally like the shape of the 2500 better than the snowball.
