Issue with my new Samsung CHG70 Monitor

Set this up on Monday, it's now Thursday morning (down under). Only noticed this last night and not sure if it's how it came or a result of my playing around with settings (a little) and applying color profiles (from RTINGS and from Samsung) but now that I've noticed it, it's driving me insane! Is there anything I can do?

 

Not even sure what it's called? Colour banding? See attached pic.

Other monitor is LG UltraWide (29WK600-W) which works fine

Ryzen 2600X

16gb DDR4 3000

Gigabyte G1 1080

Aorus Elite B450 mobo

Corsair something 650w PSU

mine is doing the same thing.  cleaned it with a barely damp cloth with just a bit of alcohol and now its doing this.  ive heard others say samsung will fix it for 150 flat fee if its not under warranty or the damage was done by the owner.
