Anyone know how to search for a replacement display for a broken monitor?New ltt's video was too confusing.

The exact model i would be looking for is the Benq xl2411p

It's explained in the video

Here's the panel for the XL2411, which is M240HW01 V8
https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/2afe6bc
https://www.aliexpress.com/af/M240HW01-V8.html?SearchText=M240HW01+V8

But i can't find information about the XL2411P, they should be the same but I have no confirmation, it's down to you to confirm that by opening the monitor and looking at the model number, don't blame me

This whole thing is still a gamble though as the panel can have defects, and a new monitor costs 200$

You will need to find the panel model of the XL2411P in order to find a replacement, not the monitor model. how you find this is going to be up to you, and I will make no claims to approve or disprove compatibility of any panels that you find with your monitor.

Consider your monitor (including the shroud and stand) to be your computer case. The panel (the physical part of the device that contains the backlighting and the RGB pixels) is your motherboard. The complete monitor is housing your panel. If it's the panel that needs to be replacing, you need to find out the specific model (or models) that BenQ use(s) for your monitor, same as you would replacing your motherboard with an identical model.

That's exactly what I'm having a hard time with. There's no info whatsoever about the panel. Nowhere.

You may be out of luck in repairing your panel in that case.

You can try BenQ's support, but it's very likely that they're just going to tell you to have them repair your monitor, even if out of warranty.
