suspicious program

[not so Important]

hello, i have noticed something strange, everytime i turn off my pc, the other screen appears with programs still running and there is always this one app/program just called G, also some news i dont need/want keep appearing on my desktop. Tried looking into the uninstall a program settings the program doesnt seem to be there nor any suspicious program i see. Just ran malwarebytes, didnt detect anything. using windows 10 by the way

try with adw cleaner, is from malwarebytes too, if it doesnt find anything important, might be a service for some app you run and is dumb enough not to obey the turn off command when you turn off pc

 

it doesnt have to be a virus or malware, in my case sometimes steam refuses to close, alot of apps and programs can do similar things

nope didnt detect anything

i tried to find any information about a g program not behaving, didnt found much

 

you could find something with regcleaner, to see if is listed as app on the startup, something similar

 

do you see the program running when you open the task manager?

wait actually after running malwarebytes, adwcleaner and ccleaner it stopped putting ads on my desktop and when i turn off my computer its not there. thanks man

to be honest i often do more with adw clenaer than malwarebytes, keep it around, it even helps with some firefox or chrome malware type searchbar and similar crap
