faaar future upgrade plans

OK so i know its far away but im nitty picky about pc parts and upgrades and such but what be good parts to upgrade on my current rig? personally im thinking of changing cpu to something with hyper threading, motherboard to whatever socket of the cpu i choose, cpu im split between a closed loop water cooler or a fan one and last gpu im just going to wait till the gtx 1000 series and sli whatever i can afford.

What would you guys change any ideas would be awesome

you won't take advantage of hyperthreading outside of professional workloads like editing and rendering etc. So I would just get another top tier GPU

Your current rig is completely fine. the 680 isn't that bad. You could get a second 680 and SLI them?

hmmm true but i do, do allot of editing for school however i can use the 3570k until 4 cores ant enough for gaming

yea thats why i set myself to wait till the 1000 series or whenever my 680 isnt powerful enough to run games on high-ultra settings

yeah but a lot of the workloads are being offset by GPU rendering making the CPU a little less important.

If you need that extra punch when it come the time get another 680. Then when 2 680s aren't enough than you can get a high end card, that's what I'm going to except with an R9 290 .
