Not sure why you had to make another thread about the same issue, but did you try CCleaner and Revo Uninstaller as discussed previously?

Well it isn't really the same issue any more, But yes I did try those programs although I don't think I am using them right. I have never used them in the past so they are pretty foreign to me.

Perhaps try this? http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/receive-error-1402-when-trying-to-install-razer/b028e0bb-f7b2-47b7-bccd-4f694a015c06

I've never owned a Razer product and I don't really plan to, so I have no experience with their products.

Sometimes Revo Uninstaller doesn't quite work properly, so give this a shot if all else fails.

Follow the instructions below at your own risk, as I will not be held liable for any possible damage to your OS:

1) Ensure that you do not have any Razer products installed and/or running

2a) Create a Restore Point by searching for "Create a restore point" in your Start Menu search bar and/or in Control Panel

2b) Click on the 'Create' button near the bottom, and wait for it to complete

3) Once complete, hold the Windows Key and hit the R key

4) Type in 'regedit' and click Okay (without the quotes)

5a) Navigate to and delete the following 'Razer' folders

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Razer
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Razer

5b) Also ensure that there is no 'Razer' folder under this section:

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software

5c) Ensure there are no 'Razer' folders under these sections

  • C:\Users\User\AppData\Local
  • C:\Users\User\AppData|Roaming
  • C:\Program Files
  • C:\Program Files (x86)
  • C:\ProgramData\
  • C:\ProgramData\Application Data
  • C:\ProgramData\Application Data\Application Data

6) Restart your system

7) Right click on the executable you're trying to run (Razer_Synapse_Framework_V1.16.06.exe), select Properties and perform the following:

  • if the file is blocked, unblock it. Also go to Compatibility > and enable Run as Administrator

8) Open and attempt to install the software

Man, I honestly cant put into words how grateful I am of you for taking the time to help me figure this out. Unfortunately the solution you provided did not work. I am going to just restore my pc from an earlier point. Once again, Thank you

I have never owned a razor product, but I guess my advice is contact Razor support and ask for a new key because your current one isn't working, if you have receipt of wherever you bought it from they should give you a new one.
