No. Go for a rx 470, 480 but i mostly recommend a 570 or 580. I went for an rx 480 just cuz they perform almost the same (580 got little higher core clock) but i were dissapointed when i realised the 470 and 480 got really bad coolers and they run pretty hot. So go for a used/new 570 or 580 (go for a sapphire card as they are the best ones out there), if u cant find any for a good price then u could take a look at the 470 and 480, but remember that those are waay older, u may have to replace the thermal paste on them, and their OG coolers can barely cool them, so high fan rpm may be needed (its going to be loud).

How much are you paying? or do you already own it? very little info.. R9 290 is a great card, but it's too power hungry and hot compared to todays standards

I already own it just seeing if its still good or have to upgrade is a 620 watt psu good for this card

Usually 620 watt is enough for that card, but depends on what the rest of your system is, and upgrading really depends on you, if you think you need a faster card then get one
