Anyone got any recommendations?

Im building a new pc and ive picked all the parts, but im not sure whitch cpu cooler I should buy. Im planning to overclock my i7 9700k. Anyone got any recommendations that isnt too expensive?

Noctua NH-D15 or be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 are probably the best air coolers out there.

Ok in that case the nh-d15 is basically the best, unless you want to get water coolers (more expensive).

Im building a new pc, and the graphics card im going with is the rtx 2080. The 2080 super is launching soon and im not sure if i should wait or not. What do should i do?

Whitch AIO should i buy if im going with the nzxt h500 and an 9700k? right now im thinking Corsair h100i platinum

I'd at least wait for the 2080 Super to launch before buying anything, that way prices drop on older cards, and there'll be plenty of used cards going up on ebay and such from people trying to upgrade.

 

Prices might shift around even more with AMD's release of the 5700 and 5700XT tomorrow at $349 and $399 respectively. (Along with the 50th Anniversary Edition 5700XT at $449)

As long as they're not riddles w/issues like the non-super cards, then there's no point in purchasin an older card at the same price; it's better to get more power for the same price, while also havin an updated card for more future resistance.

Always wait for benchmarks.  If you're patient, then I would wait about a month or so to see if there're more issues that've been reported, like w/the RTX cards down the road w/the memory failing.  It's good for both long-term and short-term investing to wait to allow others to see what kind of bugs/issues arise, then make an informed decision afterwards.  Some of them'll be fixed, so you can purchase w/out worryin about the old issues.
