Hitfilm 2 Express Free until Feb. 4th

I'm assuming that the majority of everyone here has never heard Hitfilm before, but this is an awesome deal that you should not pass up if you want a free editing program.

 

Basically Hitfilm is an affordable alternative to video editing programs like Adobe Premiere/After Effects, Final Cut, and Sony Vegas Pro.  Although it is not as good as these professional programs it is way more advanced than your typical editing programs.  Personally I have never used the program, but seeing as I only have a student version of Adobe, it doesn't hurt to pick this up especially when it's free  :D!

 

You will have to make a tweet about this deal, and make Hitfilm account, but that's hardly anything for a $150 program.

Do you know if you create an account now they will allow you to DL it again? I was planning on getting a new laptop but not before the fourth.

They will send you an email to that gives you a link to a Download Page and your Activation Code.  As long as you have the email you should be able to download and activate the program whenever you want.  But, I wrote down activation code and saved the download just in case.

Problem is the laptop is going to be a mac and I just activated the windows version...

Doh.  You could just make a second Twitter account and a second HitFilm account and get the Mac version through those accounts.  And the more expensive alternative would be to get boot camp with Windows.

I don't really know why I even bothered downloading it anyways. I already have the Adobe creative cloud.

Awesome. I needed something that isn't windows movie maker. I got so sick of it. i just started playing random audio in my background and uploading the video without touching editing onto youtube. #killedmywife
