Then you've shut out easily the best performers for your use case. The Ryzen 5 2400G is a 4c/8t unlocked CPU with a Vega 11 iGPU. 

Ryzen offers a 20+% multicore performance gain over even higher end Intel CPUs. That's its strength. Encoding is going to be faster on Ryzen, especially over the non-HT Intel units.

The only case in which a 9400f will outpace this unit is one in which gameplay is the primary use.

• CAS Latency 18 RAM at that price? Where do you live that it costs so much?
• Why would you operate 4.5TB via 6 Drives? That's poor efficiency, and you would likely save by buying a 1TB 970 Pro and a 4TB 860. In fact for general streaming, you're not likely to see a quality difference between the 860 Evo and a 7200RPM HDD.
• Likely an overspend on a midrange PSU. Look to RMx, BitFenix Gold, MWE Gold for a savings on a comparable if not superior unit.
• Why spend 145 on a case, when you've gotta spend that again on case fans?

The 9400f is what we consider a budget build option. It makes no sense to put it in a 2300 euro system...

That's why you back up on separate machine or server. Using multiple drives on one machine to safe guard against losing data is nonsense.
