Yesterday on 3rd July 2019 at night, when I tried to copy some videos from the hard disk to my windows 10 laptop the copy was very slow (about 500 KBPS) the hard disk was also responding slowly, and there was a notification that the hard disk may contain errors and fix errors in the notifications section of windows. So today(4th July 2019) I inserted the hard disk and used 'chkdsk' in command prompt and 'error check and fix' in tools section of properties of the hard disk. After that the hard disk was working properly and there were no problems. Everything was working fine and I could copy, play videos from hard disk properly. I found that only the previous videos were not working properly. But after some time when I inserted the hard disk again it was not showing the drive. When I insert the hard disk the sound of the USB connect is playing but hard disk is not opened. It is showing on the devices and printers option, device manager. But it is not showing on disk management. I also tried to use the seagate 'paragon driver' software, but still it is not working. I have not dropped the hard disk, or I have not inflicted any damage to the hard disk but still why it is not working. I don't know if it is a hardware problem or software problem but I think it is not a hardware problem. Please help.

Both the cables and the ports for that type were known (after some time) to become unreliable.

theres a chance the enclosure works but the drive doesn't , pull the drive out of the enclosure and just plug it into a sata port and see what you get

I second this recommendation, pull the drive and put it into either a different enclosure, or somewhere with a spare drive bay.

Well it is type b micro usb3 but I don't think the problem is with cable because the cable is working fine with my other hard disk.

You can also try to do a firmware upgrade if the drive can still be detected, or if it becomes detected at some point with a new cable. The Seagate FW upgrades can be found in the following link:

That's good because that means the HDD is being identified by your machine, so it's still working. Install Seatools for Windows to evaluate lifespan and the integrity of your HDD:

Also, try to drive another different computer, if the problem persists, you may want to start looking for a replacement.
