Get a GTX 760 for $200 from here

Total: $720

Notes:

Keep your RAM, if you have an ATX case you can keep it too.

Keep your HDD and Optical Drive.

If you live near a Microcenter the FX-8320 will be significantly faster and right now it is on sale for the same price.

Sell old parts to recoup some costs.

What do you guys think about going intel?

Your budget dictates that you are better off with AMD because  Core i3 starts at $100+ (dual core with HT), $150 for Core i5, then usually $200 (it's $180 now but some have gotten for less) for the cheapest Haswell unlocked CPU the Core i5-4670K and then if you want to overclock with the standard Z87 it's not a cheap motherboard either.

Realistically if you want to you can get a Core i5 4670K for $160ish, have to jump through some hoops. then a Z87 motherboard for maybe $100. If you want to go through that process.
