Mousepad

Go to solution Solved by Caennanu,

Hi Yanick,

I do not know if there are any, but i do love working with wood.

If you have a piece of thin MDF or hardboard (stukje waaibomen hout) you could just glue a rubber mat on?

If you take MDF or a hardwood variant, it shouldn't flex much, depending on the thickness.

Also if you get a bit creative, you could make it an inlay to keep up with the aesthetics.

Hey,

I was wondering of there are mousepads that have a soft top but a hard underside. My custom wooden desk isn't made of wood planks that are even, They are just uneven planks for astatic but cloth mouspads are a pain in the ass becouse my mouse is wobbly. I dont want to spend a ton of money for a logitech powerplay mousepad. becouse I dont use that feature with my G903. Thanks for the help

Alternatively, you could router the mousepad into the desk.

take 2 guide's to setup your router (bovenfrees) and route the mousepad out.

This will create an even surface for the mousepad, but you might encounter that the edges get sharp or are too high to be comfortable.

Simply sand those down.
