If you upgraded from Windows 8.1, that's why it was licensed.

I upgraded to Win10Pro last night but first i upgraded from Win8.1 to Win10Home but upon checking if it had magically activated (as i guess we all wish) It was activated...

 

I'd bought the pro license by then so i werent going to waste my purchase but is this heard of? Does this just happen?? or am i just lucky somehow?
