Has there been any solid benchmarks with the new drivers yet? And does it really improve crossfire by as much as AMD states?

No benchmarks as far as I can find.

Just wait untill the 7990 is in more reviewers hands, since it is a dual GPU card and it is relased at the same time as the drivers, the reviewers will tell the us the answers. From what I have seen on  PCPER, it does fix some frame time problems, but only time will tell other peoples resultes.
