Anyone knows recommended open source software to do AutoCAD and engineering analysis?. I'm planning to do some Finite Element Analysis and CFD Analysis for my custom motorcycle shop.

Autodesk is certainly out of my budget. I've been looking recommendation from google and some research paper. However the recommendation is all over the place and it would be great if someone with actual engineering experience can give recommendation.

I'm not engineering student btw.

Could just get a VPN for an extended trail of some older autodesk software..........

Fusion 360 is free

Otherwise there's maybe FreeCAD, but I'm not sure if anyone even uses it.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

That could work if I'm just hobbyst. But I'm planning to make money with it that's why I'll be bankrupted by Autodesk if they know I did some shady business with their software.
