I really don't know much about this kind of stuff so I'm just gonna state information that may help you understand what I need to do. I just installed this Cox panoramic modem and router in one thing and it has been blinking orange the whole time. I have not been able to get internet access. I've checked all the cables and it is plugged into the wall directly (no power strip). I have presented it multiple times but there has been no change. I checked the ethernet port on the back of my PC which it is connected to and it is solid orange. I screenshotted the ethernet status so hopefully, that helps. Anyways thanks for any advice you can give and I hope I posted this in the right place.

Call Cox, the modem might not be provisioned properly which is why you dont have internet.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I did call them earlier but all they said was that I should get a technician. They apparently tried to send a signal to the device a few times but it was not working. Another tidbit of information is that I can see it as one of the available networks on my phone but I connect it shows full bars but it doesn't work.

The issue isnt the device. Its the internet part. Could be a defective gateway, could be defective wiring in you home, could be defective wiring from the pole to the house. Hard to say.

I'm a little confused because I heard the previous owner of my apartment had no problems. I told Cox when I got my new modem/router device about my new address and they approved.
