Kryonaut is the best hands down from my experience.  About 4-6c easily compared to the others.  I had to get a tube of Arctic Silver 5 in real quick so I used it...its crap compared to TG Kryo.  It works, but comparing it to TG Kryo its not even close.

Once I went Kryo I have tried to go back...but its just to hot.  Id rather pay more for my paste (that doesn't get caked up either over time) now and have better thermals and lower fan speeds than pay half the price or 1/3rd the price tbh.  To me, its worth.

no experience with carbonaut.

does anyone have any good experiences with using these thermal pads to help dissipate the heat from a ryzen or intel processor? and if so how much of a difference would you say I could see using this product?

Science Studio did a video on it and he now uses one in the rig he tests on.

hmm I was wondering if it really does a good job cooling though to warrant buying it and using it.

Did you get a chance to watch the video?  If I remember correctly he answers your questions in it.

I did but I kind of need a bit more assurance about using such a product for my ryzen setup as I do use a wraith max cooler on it and well I need to keep the pad centered on the cpu its electrically conductive so I want it to only touch that part. there other thing is I am not sure which size to get as the one for the 99ook is smaller and maybe more manageable than the other sizes. there is another reason I also have a 9590 and a water cooling option and I want to have that for my one rig I have multiple computer rigs and I want the best options cooling wise available to me.

I wouldn't call it the best option.  I'd call it the cleanest option.

yeah thermal grease is messy. I have been able to use painting spatuals to layer the grease on top of the cpu ihs but I have a hard time keeping the stuff from spilling over the sides and getting into the socket holes. that is where I am having a bit of a hard time.

Then you're using too much. You don't really have to spread it either. Just a pea size amount in the middle of the IHS and slap your cooler on. Physics will do the rest.

ive always believed that spreading it like a cake layer makes more sense this way no part is left out. of course then there is the theory you could cook it to with insulating it. I am using kryonaut though for the time being so its not going to cause too many issues. problem is I want to make sure I am not ruining my socket.
