Anybody know of a decent trackpad driver that works on most laptops? I have a friend who has recycled an old Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop with a better CPU and more ram, ssd, etc etc. But the drivers have been discontinued for the device, and certainly none that run on windows 10.

We are after the trackpad driver from dell (the later the version the better) or a good universal trackpad driver or software that can make the scroll gestures, zoom gestures and other tricks work again.

Thanks! :)

Windows precision drivers.

I believe im using those on my 2012 Probook.

Currently using the precision drivers and it doesn't seem to support the same gestures and shortcuts the original Dell drivers did. I've had a hunt around online at what I can do with the precision drivers to change that but it is pretty locked down on the settings in terms of gestures. It doesn't seem to have any additional support for gestures apart from the driver's basic functions and compatibility.
