So my current rig is getting pretty old and sometimes it freezes. I cant really figure out why. But it's over 6 years old so I'm kind of over it now.

Under 1,000$USD

Will run duel boot of Windows and Linux

Mostly doing development work with emacs and python and lisp, or intellij and java development

I do play games but the most recent game I play is cities skylines

Nothing I do is really that intensive

I'm running Duel 4k screens

I have a Thermaltake Core X9 Black E-ATX Stackable because I over killed it. With a Cooler Master Silent Pro M - 1000W Power Supply with 80 PLUS Bronze Certification and Semi-Modular Cables. That's the only order lists I can find for the current rig. I know it's a RoG with an old AMD black 8 core and 32GB ram, radeon HD 7850? I think, the closed source drivers dont support the duel 4k but the open source does!! But yeah I really over killed my last build. I might turn this into a server until the mobo dies or something.

But I need a more realiable rig as this one freezes. I dont follow hardware that much so my coworker told me to post here.

Thanks

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
