Confused about cpu Temp readings in HWmonitor

I am using two programs to monitor my temps at idle and under load. HWMonitor and core temp. at idle the cpu sits around 30*c. under load it goes anywhere from 50*c to 53*c. i have used cinebench r15 and prime 95 and they yield the same results.

Where i am confused is what temp reading to use in HWMonitor. max it reads 53*c under package. it is the same for core temp(max 53*c). but under the other temp tab in hwmonitor there is SYSTIN, CPUTIN, and TMPIN3. and my only worrying temp is coming from CPUTIN which is reading a max of 68*c. people have said that the CPUTIN is my actual cpu temp but that doesnt make sense because of the temp reading i am getting from the core temp program.

all i need to know is what SYSTIN, CPUTIN, and TMPIN3 stand for.

CRUCIAL INFORMATION: The cpu is a fx 8350. stock speeds. and i am using a hyper 212 evo.

Thanks.

CPUTIN is different from CoreTemp. CoreTemp is the sensor on the processor while CPUTIN is motherboard CPU temp sensor. What you are looking after is CoreTemp. As long as it's not overheating, you're good!

HWMonitor index btw.

CPUTIN = CPU Temperature Index
AUXTIN = Auxiliary Temperature Index
SYSTIN = System Temperature Index

TMPIN 0 = MOBO = SYS
TMPIN 1 = CPU
TMPIN 2 = MCH = Northbridge
TMPIN 3 = Sensor near GPU/VRMs
